Lets talk about our number one priority... Safety
At Blackwell Electric, we expect the most from our Journeymen and Apprentices. We expect them to be the best at what they do, and to do the job in the safest way possible. We acknowledge the electrical field is inherently dangerous, and in turn give our employees the training and gear needed no matter the cost. Our greatest assets are our top end electricians, and we will do everything we can as a company to keep them safe.
Training
Training a new apprentice can be costly, time consuming, and stressful. This is true for most of the "trades" but the common theme in training is "how can we do this as fast as possible?" The phrase "safety first" essentially becomes lost and
priorities shifted to saving money and time. At Blackwell Electric, we practice what we preach. We train our employees on the safest practices for each task, and emphasize safety over speed. We also emphasize the use of "stop work" if a potentially dangerous situation arises on site. Training our employees to be safe no matter the task is, and always will be, priority number one!
The Mindset of Zero Incidents
Much like the North Dakota Highway Patrol has vision zero signs scattered across the state, we too have a vision of zero incidents. We believe that spending the resources needed to reach this goal is in the best interest of our employees and the company. We believe through our use of resources and training that our vision of zero incidents is attainable year after year!
